E3 2007: Two new Wii accessories revealed.

During Nintendo's conference during E3, two spanking new accesories for Wii was revealed.

First is the Wii Balance Board (name not final). This aerobics step and scale-like device uses gyroscpoic sensor technology to detect your weight, movement and balance while standing on the board. This board will be shipped with the newly announced game Wii Fit, that encourages players (if you can classify users of Wii Fit as gamers, rather than exercisers.... haha) to have cardiovascular workout. Wii Fit will be available in Japan this holiday season, and in US sometime 2008.

Next up was the Wii Zapper (again name not final). A gun accessory for Capcom's Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (an on-rails shooter coming out soon), but the 2 handed, tommy gun like attachement came as a surprise. The Zapper is essentially a device to house the wii-mote and the nunchuk attachment into one device.
