A few days after the news that Rumbleaxis (rumble-enabled Sixaxis) have been send to games developers, Sony's director of corporate communications Dave Karraker told GamePro that Sony have "not added rumble [to the Sixaxis], and have no announcements regarding this feature." How's that for a non-denial denial?
At the same time, Karraker also confirmed that the updated SIXAXIS controllers with refined motion-sensing features were shipping out, but characterized that as "part of the normal development and evolution of controllers."
Look forward to having more motion sensitive PS3 Sixaxis controllers soon, but I was hoping for the rumble feature to be reality sooner than later.
